After a RWC certificate? Look no further. A Certificate of Roadworthiness (also known as a ‘roadworthy’ or ‘RWC’) shows that your vehicle is safe enough to be used on public roads. A roadworthy is required whenever a vehicle is sold, if it’s being re-registered, and to clear some defect notices.

We carry out roadworthy inspection and offer a roadworthy certificate for vehicles in VIC. A roadworthy certificate is required for re-registration and re-selling of a vehicle to prove that it is safe for normal road use.

High Performance Mufflers & Service Center is a nominated service station for providing a roadworthy certificate, and our technicians are licensed to perform a roadworthy inspection.

The following items are generally checked in a roadworthy inspection:

  • Wheels and Tyres
  • Braking, steering and suspension systems
  • Seats and seat belts
  • Lamps and reflectors
  • Windows, and windscreen including front windscreen wipers and washers
  • The structure of the vehicle itself
  • Other safety-related items on the body, chassis or engine
